Feedback needed: Worm gear load capacity analysis and ISO TR 14521:2010.

The BGA and its members have a strong commitment to National (BS) and International (ISO) Standards work and is contracted by BSI to operate as the Secretariat for the ISO/TC60/SC1 committee Nomenclature and Worm Gearing.

We have a request from BSI gears committee regarding worm gear standards.  They ask if anybody uses ISO TR 14521:2010 worm load capacity standard and if not what other standards are being used.  This information will be useful for future standard development and we will treat any replies we receive as confidential.

Please email your feedback before 1st November 2018 to .  We look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your continued contribution to Gearing Standards.
