Introduction to gear cutting and measurement.
Date: 14th – 17th May 2019.
Venue: BGA Training Centre, Washington.
The BGA Introduction to Gear Cutting and Measurement course is essential for engineers who want to broaden their understanding of first principals of gear design and cutting.
With ever advancing technology and sophisticated machinery these gear design principals in action are hidden away inside an ascetic casing. The BGA Gear Cutting Course strips all of this away. Delegates will learn first principals of gearing and gain practical experience using our Maxicut 2A shaping machine and Sykes H150 hobbing machine. These manual machines will allow delegates to see the principals of gear design in reality strengthening understanding of how the gear tools work.
Under the tutelage of Gear expert Martyn English this essential hands on Gear training is only available from the BGA.
