It was great to see so many BGA Members at the 37th Annual General Meeting of the British Gear Association at Reliance Precision on Thursday 20th June 2024.
We'd like to thank long standing BGA Members Reliance Precision, for hosting the meeting and providing us with a fantastic venue, presentations and factory tour.
At the meeting Chair Graham Penning advised members that 2023 was a very positive year for BGA paying particular attention to the very strong performance of the BGA training programme and the introduction of the Apprenticeship Special Interest Group. It was also noted that membership has remained strong.
Operating costs have remained low and further benefits should be realised throughout the coming year, giving greater benefits to members.
In other AGM business it was the end of an era when Graham Penning stepped down as Chair of the British Gear Association after a fantastic 13 years of service. Graham will continue as an active member of the Executive Council providing essential guidance and support to our new Chair David Radley from Davall Gears.
The AGM attendees approved the change of leadership, thanked Graham for his contribution and welcomed David to the post.
Full minutes of the meeting will be distributed to Member Companies and the 2023 Annual report is available to download in the publication page on the BGA Website.
