British Gear Association Apprenticeship SIG Meeting: 10th April 10am – 11am

The BGA Special Interest Group on Apprenticeships are holding an open meeting on 10th April and you are invited. The current skills shortage in the UK has been identified by Members as a major issue in their business so this is a session you do not want to miss being a part of.


Join us on 10th April to find out the current SIG plans and contribute to the strategic direction of the group. The current SIG members will also be available to answer any questions you have on UK Apprenticeships.

Mission:

"To empower members of the British Gear Association (BGA) in accessing apprenticeship opportunities, advocate for the inclusion of gear-related interests in apprenticeship frameworks and provide tailored training support to advance skills and knowledge within the industry."

 

Vision:

"We envision a thriving gear-related industry where every member has equitable access to apprenticeships, apprenticeship frameworks reflect the needs of our sector, and BGA serves as a cornerstone for fostering excellence through comprehensive training and support."

 

Objectives:

·        Support Members on accessing apprenticeship support (signposting and peer support);

·        Ensuring gear related interests are represented in apprenticeship frameworks;

·        Support BGA providing relevant gears apprenticeship knowledge and skills training
