JOINT BGA / HEXAGON TECHNICAL AWARENESS DAY

The British Gear Association are delighted to partner with BGA Member Hexagon MI to host a joint Technical Awareness Day (TAD) at their state of the art facilities in Nottingham on 26th November 2024.


In addition to the great programme Hexagon MI have put together, there will be plenty of opportunity to network with BGA Members from the leading Gear and Transmission companies, manufacturers, distributors, and academics around the UK.


This will be your chance to share prospects, discuss challenges and promote your interests to likeminded people.


Please note there are limited spaces available so please book early to avoid disappointment.


The open day will include:


Demonstrating The Digital Thread through the lifecycle of gears.


  • Rapid reverse engineering of competitor gears and gearboxes

  • Web-enabled collaborative design

  • Simulation-led design - present and future

  • Collaboration between design, manufacturing and metrology

  • Understanding in-service performance using Digital Twins

  • Closing the loop - linking warranty data to design targets


Lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day.
