MEMBER NEWS: HEWLAND'S NEW TECHNICAL CENTRE

BGA Member Hewland's Technical Centre is open for testing in the lead up to the new year and beyond with Technical Director Mark Ingram at its head.


Their state-of-the-art facility offers a wide range of testing capabilities, including:


- Sierra 3E Test Rig: Capable of handling up to 750kW / 714Nm input torque, with input speeds up to 11,000 RPM.

- Tilt Rig: Loaded testing from 0° to 90°, spin testing up to 34kW / 100Nm input.

- GSQA: Analysis of shift effort, tactile feedback, and gate definition.

- Battery Emulation, NPI, and Concept Design Analysis: Supporting advanced drivetrain testing and development.
