Yesterday BGA members, MTC colleagues and guests networked at the MTC Laser Technology Facility.
We enjoyed a series of interesting, cutting edge, technological, presentations from a variety of companies including the fantastic facilities at the MTC itself.
Mike Beirns, Business Development Manager introduced the day's agenda and esteemed colleagues. After the presentations, we adjourned to enjoy a delicious 3 course lunch and networked with members, some of which members had only met virtually until this point and others not seen since before covid.
After lunch we were taken on a tour of the facilities, research projects and latest technologies -or the ones that weren't top secret ;-)
A thoroughly good day was enjoyed by all. I think many of us hadn't appreciated how much we'd missed networking opportunities as a result of covid. It's days like these that help us engage with business to business discussions and help spark that creativity for growth. I find it's sometimes only when we stop and take time out to think, that we do our best work. It was so inspiring to see so many members represented at this event. Thank you for your support.
Feedback so far points towards a very successful event indeed.
Did you know there are funding opportunities for your business growth?
