Nominate a School With Primary Engineer!



The BGA are dedicated to promoting STEM subjects in schools to encourage the next generation of engineers in the UK. Please see below details of a national competition run by Primary Engineer. If you have links with a local school please nominate them to get involved.


Primary Engineer are asking people to nominate a school or teacher that is close to them so they can take part in their Leaders Award competition.

The competition is open to all Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges so any teacher can take part for free!

Primary Engineer ask pupils aged 3-19 the question “If you were an engineer, what would you do?”.


Pupils are tasked with interviewing an engineer, where they get the opportunity to ask the questions that matter to them, before coming up with their own engineering ideas.

Primary Engineer will contact your nomination to share the competition with them.

The British Gear Association (BGA) is a trade association that promotes the technical and commercial interests of manufacturers, distributors, academics and others involved in the Power Transmissions industry in the United Kingdom.
