The British Gear Association are delighted to partner with long-standing BGA Member Compact Orbital Gears to host a joint Technical Awareness Day (TAD) at their state of the art facilities in Rhayader on 19th September.
In addition to the great programme Compact Orbital Gears (COG) have put together, there will be plenty of opportunity to network with BGA Members from the leading Gear and Transmission companies, manufacturers, distributors, and academics around the UK.
This will be your chance to share opportunities, discuss challenges and promote your interests to likeminded people.
About the event.
Join us as we explore Compact Orbital Gears’ world of bespoke high speed gearboxes and test rigs;
Tour the complete manufacturing facility, including the gear and spline manufacture and inspection areas.
Discover the assembly and test areas; including how in-house white metal bearings are manufactured.

Understand how COG use a mixture of in-house gear design software and the latest Rotordynamic analysis tools to design ultra-high speed gearboxes.
Hear from British Gear Association (BGA).
Hear from COG’s gear design and manufacturing experts.
COG not only make our own gearboxes – we repair any gearbox and make to print any gear you require.
